Affiliate

Affiliates are the non-voting members of WSIG. There is no application needed, so you can join at any time. This is the starting position for our members, allowing students to learn more about what WSIG does.

Analyst

Analysts are the voting members participating in WSIG. Those are students responsible for managing the portfolio, assigned to Consumer Goods, Energy, Financials, Healthcare, Industrials, or Technology. Analysts can pitch stocks to the group. Applications are accepted every semester.

Requirements:

• Six-week training program on basics of stock market and valuation tools, beginning a few weeks after the start of the semester

• Interview with the Executive Committee

• Research and presentation of a recommendation for security; when successful, candidate will get voted into the group
